RV Service Technician

Job Type: Full-Time/Regular
Job Description: Full-time Mechanic needed for Recreational Vehicle repair shop located in Vacaville, CA. Desired skills include general mechanical, electrical, towing systems, plumbing, and structural repair. Wages based on experience.

Requirements:

Experienced mechanical ability and diagnostic & troubleshooting ability.
Able to follow directions while still able to work independently
Excellent customer service and committment to seeing a job to the end
Organized and focused with tasks at hand.
Keeps supervisor apprised of progress and ensures that the final work product is inspected.
Demonstrates operation of newly installed equipment.
Maintains a safe work area for customers and coworkers.
Performs other miscellaneous duties as assigned and at established performance levels.

Qualifications:

RIVA certification or one to two years of experience as an RV Repair Technician preferred.
Good written or oral communications skills.
Basic math skills.
Must have own tools.
Good understanding of electrical diagrams.
Valid Driver's License and good driving record.
Ability to stand for long periods of time, stoop, crawl, and bend.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and/or move up to 100 lbs.
Ability to work on ladders, elevated platforms and roofs
